Career Development

The Youth Chamber connects students with the corporate world by developing a series of roundtable discussions. The roundtables, which are essentially workshops, were developed to prepare students for entry into the workforce. Examples of roundtable topics include Business Etiquette, Networking, Leadership, Public Speaking, Mock Interviews, and Personal Branding.

Key presenters and guest speakers have included corporate and community representatives from Verizon Wireless, AT&T, State Farm, Disney, Ernest & Young, Wells Fargo, the Small Business Development Center, and many more. Roundtables provide participants with professional experiences in corporate and community environments.

Community Involvement

Being part of the Youth Chamber stresses the importance of community involvement and making a difference by giving back to the community.

The Youth Chamber creates a bridge between our members and business leaders in Orange County and surrounding areas. Through volunteering opportunities, we encourage our members to network and build relationships with potential employers, mentors, and colleagues that will aid them later in their careers.

The youth chamber's main partner for these community services and networking events is the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Access to Higher Education

Education is a key component of our program. The Youth Chamber encourages our members to always strive for the next step in their education, may it be their first year in college or their last year in graduate school.

The Youth Chamber provides scholarships in order to assist in the achievement of these goals. Since our founding in 2009, we have awarded over $80,000 in scholarships to both college and high school students who showed a strong presence in the youth chamber's events.
